I think u r just a little bit confused sweetie. See, the reason u r not finding a college that offers a major in pediatrics is because one does not exist. Before a student can become a pediatrician, he or she first needs to go to four years of undergraduate schooling & obtain a bachelors degree. This degree can be in any major; most choose to major in biochemistry. Then, assuming the student has maintained at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 GPA scale, the student takes the MCAT exam (student entrance exam for medical school) & if that is high enough, h/she then goes on to medical school, which is another four years. Then he/she chooses a specialty- in this case, pediatrics & does a minimum of 3 years of residence & 1 year of internship. All in all, it takes & an additional (minimum) 12 years of schooling beyond high school to become a pediatrician.
